National Certified Pastoral Counselor Supervisor

This specialty certification is designed for the professional counselor or pastoral counselor in the clinical setting who is called upon to supervise other pastoral counselors.

Certification Requirements

Certification
Certification as a NCPC II or NCPC III

All of the requirements are in addition to NCPC II or III certification requirements.

Education
100 contact hours of coursework directly relating to Counselor Supervision topics.

Experience 
500 hours of work experience supervising counselors or pastoral counselors.

Re-Certification
NCPC Supervisors are required to be re-certified every 3 years.

Continuing Education
NCPC Supervisors are required to complete 6 CEU's per year that directly relate to Counselor Supervision.
